Experience
Center for Strategic and International Studies
As an External Relations Intern at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), I contribute to a range of communications and media efforts that support the center’s mission of providing nonpartisan policy insights. I draft daily newsletters sent to over 30,000 subscribers, along with media advisories and social media content promoting publications and events. I support the production of the cross-platform video series *Asked & Answered*, helping translate complex policy topics into engaging, digestible content for digital audiences. I also coordinate event photography and assist with high-level private events. In addition, I compile detailed social media metrics reports and draft rapid-turnaround research memos for *The Truth of the Matter* podcast, which reached 800,000 downloads in 2024. My work includes analyzing the conservative media landscape to maintain balanced outreach and fielding press inquiries to connect journalists with CSIS experts.
Original Strategies
As a Public Affairs Intern at Original Strategies from September to December 2024, I developed and edited media lists, detailed face sheets, and quarterly media-hit recaps to evaluate campaign performance and support strategic outreach. I researched editorial contacts to help secure targeted media coverage and identified earned media and award opportunities to enhance brand recognition and strengthen media relationships. Additionally, I tracked legislative developments nationwide to create a comprehensive state policy tracking map. I also contributed to social media efforts and participated in both internal and external meetings to help shape media strategy and communications initiatives.
Meridian International Center
As the Corporate Diplomacy Fellow at the Meridian International Center’s Center for Corporate Diplomacy, I developed and implemented international business stakeholder meetings by preparing topical briefs, organizing event logistics, and drafting post-event summaries for publication. I conducted in-depth research on corporate executives, economic policy, diplomatic protocol, and current international issues to create briefing materials that informed high-level discussions. I also proposed and facilitated roundtable discussions for Meridian’s annual international business summit, helping to foster dialogue at the intersection of global business and diplomacy.
Conflict Management Center
This center is within the Prgram for the Advacnement of Research into Conflict and Collaboration. As the Student Program Associate for the Conflict Managment Center, I prepare workshop materials and assist in presentation, help professors and doctoral candidates with their research and complete various admistrative duties.
Delta Upsilon Int. Fraternity
In 2023, I was elected as the Vice President of External Relations for the Syracuse Chapter of Detla Upsilon International Fraternity. In this position, I participated in executive board meetings, managed a budget of $35,000 for philanthropy, social outreach, and community engagement, and managed various social media accounts
The Daily Orange
As a culture writer for the Daily Orange at Syracuse University, I attend and write articles on various cultural stories around Syracuse. These articles are then posted online and printed in teh physical newpaper that is dispersed across campus.
ACCO Brands
During my Summer employment at ACCO Brands in Alexandria, P.A. I achieved a forklift operator certification and handled the shipping of thoursands of units of inventory.
